The first Joint ELI User Call was launched in early June 2022 with ELI ERIC coordinating the assessment of proposals from all 3 facilities, ELI ALPS, ELI Beamlines, and ELI NP.  The significant increase in instruments and the anticipated research plans from User Call 1 to 2, prompted the development of a dedicated User Portal and a more streamlined process which was in full operation for the 3rd Call.

The Joint User Programme is expected to launch two User Calls a year going forward, in the Spring and Autumn period, with next Call expected to launch in March 2024.
